Qualification outline
This diploma will build your knowledge in a variety of areas around planning and management activities. Successful graduates often become decision makers in the public and private sector. Our partnerships with over 60 industry groups, allows students to be involved in real projects as part of their training. Examples of industry projects and field study include (projects undertaken may change from year to year)- development and implementation of three industry projects, three day alpine field trip assessing management issues, three day coastal field trip working on coastal restoration projects, one week flora and fauna survey at Ned's Corner (Northwest Victoria). The Diploma of Conservation and Land Management reflects the role of personnel working in management positions with technical level skill in land management roles.
