Job description

In this job you will assist with the implementation of an Ecosystem Enhancement Program, which will include undertaking vegetation surveying on private rural land, developing ecological management plans and overseeing the implementation of on-ground works and mapping by approved contractors as well as assist in the implementation of a Sustainable Land Management Strategy and Natural Heritage Strategy, which aim to protect and enhance biodiversity values on private land.

Required qualification/experience

To undertake this job you will need a degree or diploma level qualification in Conservation and Land Management, Natural Resource Management or a related field, relevant experience in ecological management, a good knowledge of plants, weed control and ecological management principles as well as the ability to engage rural landholders.
