Job description

In this job you will be responsible for a range of aquatic monitoring, catchment prioritisation and restoration/rehabilitation programs including; aquatic macroinvertebrate and water quality surveys, coordination of fluvial geomorphology assessments; desktop catchment assessments; catchment improvement and stream rehabilitation projects; community engagement and education; and support for best practice principles such as water sensitive urban design.

Required qualification/experience

To undertake this job you will need a degree in environmental science/natural resource management or similar, a minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience; experience in aquatic macroinvertebrate/water quality monitoring or similar, demonstrated skills in project management and well-developed communication skills, including an ability to deliver education programs to a wide range of audiences.
