Job description

In this job you will lead a team of Rangers and planning staff in the development, design, implementation, review and monitoring of key biodiversity conservation, environmental management and Indigenous cultural heritage programs and projects.

Required qualification/experience

To undertake this job you will need a degree in Biodiversity Conservation, Conservation Ecology, Natural Resource Management or a relevant discipline, capacity to interpret scientific information and practical experience leading and implementing field based conservation and cultural heritage projects, understanding of key environmental management principles and practices (such as Adaptive Experimental Management) and a capacity to apply them within a protected area framework and understanding of Indigenous cultural heritage and empathy with Indigenous communities and societies.
