Job description
In this job you will provide day-to-day coordination and on-ground supervision of a Ranger group in undertaking natural and cultural resource management activities in accordance with approved work plans, integrate Rangers into planning processes, including ongoing community consultations with traditional owners, natural resource management initiatives across the region of relevance and fieldwork to identify further priority management actions.
Required qualification/experience
To undertake this job you will need demonstrated skills in managing staff working in a team environment preferably within the field of natural resource management, knowledge of natural resource management practices, ability to liaise with experts in this field including NRM bodies and Traditional Owners and to manage facilitators in the recording and transfer of cultural heritage knowledge to younger generations. A degree or diploma in NRM is desirable.
